FISCAL YEAR ENDING 2009
The Housing Authority of the
County of Santa Clara (HACSC) has signed an agreement with HUD to
participate in the Moving to Work (MTW) Demonstration Program. Under MTW,
HACSC is given budget flexibility and the authorization to develop policies
that are outside the limitations of certain HUD regulations and provisions
of the Housing Act of 1937. The additional flexibility offered by MTW will
allow HACSC to more successfully achieve its mission and program goals, as
well as enhance its ability to serve the needs of low-income people and
communities in the County of Santa Clara.
