On January 4, 2008, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) signed a ten-year Moving to Work (MTW) Agreement with the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Clara (HACSC).  The MTW Program provides HACSC with more flexibility and authorization to develop policies that are outside the limitations of certain HUD regulations, in order to more successfully achieve its mission and program goals, and to enhance its ability to serve the needs of low-income people and communities in Santa Clara County.
